Corplast has been a GRS certified company since 2021 and is able to produce soles and components for the fashion sector in certified TPR, TPU and EVA materials coming from PRE-CONSUMPTION and POST-CONSUMPTION recycling.
The GRS is a certification standard promoted by TextileExchange, one of the most important international non-profit organizations for responsible and sustainable development in the textile sector.
The standard recognizes the importance of recycling for the growth of a sustainable production and consumption model, with the aim of promoting the reduction of resource consumption (virgin raw materials, water and energy) and increasing the quality of recycled products.
The GRS provides for the release of an environmental declaration verified by third parties which ensures the content of recycled materials in their products, both intermediate and finished, the maintenance of traceability throughout the entire production process, restrictions in the use of chemical products and compliance with environmental and social criteria in all phases of the production chain from the recycling of materials, to the subsequent manufacturing phases, up to product labelling.
The GRS certification guarantees the traceability of the recycled and sustainable materials present in our products (for a weight of no less than 20%) and is a further confirmation that the company is operating in full compliance with ethical, environmental and social criteria in all phases of the production chain.
Purchasing a GRS product therefore means supporting, with seriousness and awareness, companies that operate with respect for people and the environment, contributing to making this planet a better place.

Only the products which are covered by a
valid Transaction certificate are GRS certified
The use of the GRS logo and claims on products containing materials of recycled origin is reserved only for certified companies.
Companies not yet certified can only partially take advantage of the certification benefits of the GRS certified components used, through an advertising promotion aimed – precisely – at the single certified sustainable component (and not at the finished product).
For example, on Zalando products made with sustainable materials by a certified company (“brand” or “shoe factory”) can display the GRS logo in the window, while those made from GRS certified materials without the company (” brand” or “shoe factory”) is certified, they can still obtain recognition as “Recycled Materials/Sustainable Product”.
